Known issues with games as of 1.24.1 (TODO, still some that need to be confirmed and added)




Arc the Lad III - Disc switching doesn't work. Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

Army Men - Air Attack (Europe) - Hangs during loading of Mission 5. Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

Ballerburg - Castle Chaos (USA) - Locks up after trying to start a campaign(CD related issue). Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

Barbie - Race & Ride (USA) - Graphical glitches(horse and rider are sometimes black after stopping the horse).

Championship Motocross 2001 - Invisible driver.

Colony Wars - Vengeance (Europe) - Loading time right before gameplay starts is far too long. Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

Cyberwar (Japan) - Locks up during startup(SPU status bits issue).

Disney's Hercules - Locks up on password entry screen.

Dragon Ball GT - Final Bout - Locks up when trying to fight Frieza or Piccolo.

Final Fantasy 7 - "Sony Computer blah blah" game startup image is a bit glitchy.

Final Fantasy 7 - Reverb is weaker than it should be.

Front Mission 2 (Japan Ultimate Hits) - Reported to randomly lock up during/after battles(need to test and verify).

Goryuujin Electro - Hangs after trying to start a game. Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

Grind Session - Missing music and hangs. Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

Incredible Crisis - Hangs before gameplay begins at "Etsuko and the Golden Pig". CDC emulation related issue. Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

International Moto X (Japan) - Flickering/Missing graphics on racer selection screen.

Little Princess - Marl Oukoku no Ningyouhime 2 (Japan) - Locks up randomly during screen transitions(input read timing related).

Monkey Hero - Locks up shortly after title screen.

Next Tetris, The (Europe) - Locks up before language selection screen during startup.

Nicktoons Racing - Totally fubared sound effects.

Nightmare Creatures - BIOS reverb sound excessively contaminates beginning of game.

Pitball (USA) - CD-DA playback issues. Need to investigate. Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

Rascal - Flickering/missing graphics in menus.

Rayman (Japan) - Short CD-DA music at end of stage plays back twice. Possibly a seek timing issue.

RayRay CD-ROM (Japan) - Locks up when exiting to the main selection screen after watching a RayStorm movie.

Re-Loaded: The Hardcore Sequel - Sound effect glitches. Fixed in 1.24.1

Resident Evil: Director's Cut - Game acts as if the controller was disconnected at some screen transitions.

Ridge Racer Bonus Turbo Mode Disc - Locks up if down or up is pressed(to move down/up the list) on the first menu screen. (CD timing issue)

Roswell Conspiracies - Aliens, Myths & Legends (USA) - Missing music. Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

Sangokushi Eiketsuden - Many animations go far too fast. Animation speed likely depends on GPU revision(old vs new) too...

Simple 1500 Series Vol. 057 - The Maze - Locks up during startup. (CD timing issue) Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

T'ai Fu - Wrath of the Tiger - Sometimes locks up when starting a new game.

Tactics Ogre - Menu/Overlay elements on the map screen occasionally flicker.

Transformers - Beast Wars Transmetals - Locks up during loading screen. (CD timing issue) Fixed in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE

Vigilante 8 - Has weird red and green(and a few blue) garbage pixels in patches sometimes during gameplay.

World Cup 98 - Hangs during startup. It used to work, though it often would hang if you skipped intro FMVs; regression introduced in 1.22.0-UNSTABLE. Probably a timing issue.

World Destruction League - Thunder Tanks.
GPU FIFO overflow appears when the game is launched from command line. Didn't saw the message when launched from Medgui.

Twisted Metal 4 is supposed to have audio tracks; that CUE sheet doesn't specify audio tracks, hence it is bad.

Only have troubles with Dead Or Alive now.
I noticed that cue files are generally bad done with img files.

I didn't find how to use the memory card only in one port in the mednafen's options.
Does anybody knows how to play this game?

Tetris with Card Captor Sakura: Eternal Heart gives some sort of error screen in Japanese, and won't proceed any further. I've verified my copy matches redump.org's, and it does work in ePSXe.

Weetabix66, have you set psx.input.port2.memcard to 0?
1 = enable
0 = disable

You might have enabled additional gamepads. Check
psx.input.port1.memcard
psx.input.port2.memcard
psx.input.port3.memcard
psx.input.port4.memcard
psx.input.port5.memcard
psx.input.port6.memcard
psx.input.port7.memcard
psx.input.port8.memcard
and make sure that you're using only one memory card.

I tried the game yesterday and it worked.

During gameplay, there's a flickering black line at the top of the screen which isn't reproduced when taking a screenshot.

I've noticed something similar with Metal Gear Solid - VR Missions during the publisher logos and disc swap section, at the bottom of the screen. This doesn't stay during gameplay though.
