can someone help me with this? i have no idea how to get the CD emulation started. im using the Let's mednafen frontend. i tried loading the system cards but the CD wont load.  does this emulator support CUE & ISO?

Yes, it does support cue + iso (not for mp3 though, so rip to ogg or flac which is better anyway) I don't use a front end I just use "Open With" mednafen and the .cue. Works fine. Make sure you are pointing it to the system card, either CLI parameter or pce.cdbios in ~/.mednafen/mednafen.cfg That should do the trick.

Hello maru-chan mednafen supports cue but not iso - open mednafen.cfg - on the line ;Path to the CD BIOS enter the path of your bios (it can be compressed) eg: pce.cdbios d:\nec PCENGINE\emu\mednafen.081\bios\v30.zip - open a command prompt in the same dir than mednafen - type "mednafen " then drag n drop your cue file, it should work [Updated on: Wed, 19 September 2007 15:33] | ||||
