Someone has though about adding 7zip support? GoodMerge support would require someway to select the specific ROM from the .7z file, so I'm not asking for it. But adding support for 7zip archives with a single ROM should not be difficult, just a new case in MDFN_fopen/MakeMemWrap.
But I have researched a little and I don't see an equivalent of zlib/Minizip for 7zip. There seems to be an official SDK but very windows specific... so, someone knows what would be the best way to add 7zip support to mednafen?

Download the SDK: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/lzma457.tar.bz2
Extract it somewhere: tar xf lzma457.tar.bz2 -C lzma457
CD to: lzma457/C/Archive/7z
The source code there should be what you need to get started (see main() in 7zMain.c).
