compiling error (libcdio) on osx [message #1634] |

I've tried to compile mednafen on osx 10.5 but it complains that libcdio is not found.
"checking for LIBCDIO... configure: error: *** libcdio not found!"
I actually have just installed libcdio from sources, so why can't it find it? (didn't change the install prefix or anything)

You might need to do something like this(Mednafen's configure):
env PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig ./configure

nope.
I've tried that, and I've tried also things like
LDFLAGS='-L/usr/local/lib' CPPFLAGS='-I/usr/local/include/'
both as env of as export.
nothing worked.

If you don't care about having what libcdio provides, you can always add --without-libcdio to your configure line.
