This minor release updates Tremor to address a security vulnerability with Vorbis-encoded CD image audio tracks, and fixes graphical glitches in the Sega Saturn game "Shining Force III - Scenario 2".
ChangeLog
-- 1.21.2: --
April 2, 2018:
Updated bundled copy of Tremor to address a security vulnerability.
SS: Improved emulation of SCU DSP DMA to program RAM, per tests on a SS(still nowhere near perfect, the way it's implemented on hardware is kind of
horrible, but it should work ok if games use it how it's meant to be used); fixes graphical glitches in "Shining Force III - Scenario 2", and perhaps
in the other "Shining Force III" games as well.
SS: Flush the prefetched SCU DSP instruction when PC is set via PPAF, instead of when END/ENDI executes or when execution is forcibly stopped, per tests on a SS.
SS: Disallow SCU DSP LOP from being written in a looped single instruction unless it's the final iteration, per tests on a SS.
SS: Allow SCU DSP LOP to underflow to 0xFFF with LPS and BTM, per tests on a SS.

I'm playing through SFIII Scenario 3 right now but the same bugs from Scenario 2 are present. There are 2 very specific bugs that I noticed. Are either of these the ones referenced in these notes?
1. distorted spell effects upon initial game load that goes away after casting either a healing spell or a lightning spell; prior to this the other spell graphics don't load, the waterfalls in towns don't animate, and the selection cursor in battle is either wrongly colored or invisible all together. The exact same bug persists in scenario 3.
2. During the cinematic at the very end of the game, post-credits, the entire frame is shifted 20-30 pixels to the left, causing the left 20-30 pixels of the game image to be omitted from view. This happens twice in Sc3 as well that I'm aware of.
Thank you for your feedback! I'm downloading this new version right now to try but I figured I'd point these out since you're actively looking at Shining Force III right now.

So I played for 3ish hours and can confirm the spell bugs are 100-% resolved in both scenario 2 and 3! Yay! I don’t have any save files near the cinemas to check the offset bugs but when I can I will. This is truly amazing and feels like I’m playing the game on my physical Saturn. Never thought I’d see the day. Thank you all for your hard work!!!

Hi there. Appears with latest version (at least on linux, didn't check other *nix), ~/.mednafen directory needs to be manually created if it doesn't exist. Old versions created it for you.

Oops, that's embarrassing.
