It will be great if save/load sates to file is possible. I believe enthusiasm gamer would like to have their save in different stages.

the last one seems hard to implement, and not many people likely to use it.
1.save state to file.
2.load state to file.
3.option for default save file path using format string.
4.load state from command line, like

mednafen.exe game1.iso game.mc0
