The game still trashes the screen at random times for a frame or 2, and in the changelog it says that this was fixed over ten years ago?

Well, anyway it still happens. It looks like the screen is drawn out of bounds, like the center of the picture is aligned with a random corner of the screen (upper left or lower right).
