Hi,
PulseAudio crashes when I close Mednafen, not every time but quite often.
PulseAudio logs:
pulseaudio[1473453]: Assertion 'pa_hashmap_remove(import->blocks, PA_UINT32_TO_PTR(b->per_type.imported.id))' failed at ../src/pulsecore/memblock.c:627, function memblock_free(). Aborting.

Mednafen settings:
sound.device default
sound.driver sdl
I mainly use the PSX module but the problem is present on all of them.
Mednafen 1.29.0
Ubuntu 21.10 & 22.04

Issue is not caused by mednafen but PulseAudio, i can reproduce it with others emulators.

silly question, have you tried
sound.device sexyal-literal-default
on your config?
