Sega Saturn Resolution MacOS [message #6923] | Tue, 01 August 2023 22:12

Hello. I am using MacOS Ventura OS 13.4.1 Homebrew to run Mednafen. However, no matter what resolution parameters I set, the gameplay screen, when in fullscreen mode, does not stretch to the top and the bottom of the screen. I have tried tweaking the ss.xres, ss.xscalefs, ss.yres, ss.yscale, and ss.yscalefs settings. However, no matter the value, none of the values changed the resolution. What is going on? How do I change the resolution? Darpmosh

Try setting:ss.stretch aspect I forget what default is, but it's probably aspect_int or aspect_mult2, which don't fill the screen top to bottom unless your monitor happens to be the perfect height (eg: 240 x 3 = 720). If you want to set the size manually using ss.xscalefs & ss.yscalefs, you'll need to set ss.stretch to 0, otherwise they have no effect. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ she/her Use my mednafen servers?
