Is there a setting to force NGP (grayscale) emulation of NGPC games? [message #7019]

Is there a setting in Mednafen to force NGPC (Neo Geo Pocket Color) games to run as if in a black & white NGP (Neo Geo Pocket)?

NeoPop has a menu option that does this; since Mednafen's NGP(C) emulation is based on NeoPop, I was wondering if the capability to do it is in there somewhere. I can't find a setting for it listed in Mednafen's documentation, though.

(It sounds like a silly thing to do but it's the only way to get the hidden black and white "Yosaku" minigame in The King of Fighters: Battle de Paradise, for instance. : )
