Hello,
I recently played with code in RAM. It allows you to do self modifiable code or save some load/store instructions by directly setting the data.
The example attached set irq1 interrupt vector at ram location $2200. And subroutines called for hsync and vsync are changed during execution (the hsync/vsync can be messy, i haven't tested it in depth). I'll try to put an example of self modifying code later.
